Privacy Policy

Who we are

Mezan Community (“Mezan”, “we”, “us”) is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and operates mezanplus.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our site or become a member, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address, collected when you sign up.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Communication details: your WhatsApp number, if you choose to join a class or community WhatsApp group.
  • Usage information: basic site analytics and login activity, to keep the dashboard and account area working properly.

How we use it

We use your data to: create and manage your membership account; process your monthly payment; schedule and run your classes; send you class updates and account emails (like receipts and welcome emails); and, if you opt in, share news about Mezan. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Who we share it with

We share limited data with the service providers that run the site on our behalf, only as needed to provide the service: Stripe (payments), our website hosting provider, and, if you join the affiliate program, our affiliate-tracking provider. Some of these providers may process data outside the UAE; where they do, we rely on their own compliance safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for that transfer.

Cookies

Our site uses basic cookies needed to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We don’t use invasive tracking or sell cookie data to advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and payment records for as long as you’re a member, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it’s deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Under UAE data protection law, you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to how we use it; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw any consent you’ve given us, at any time. To do any of this, just email us — we’ll respond promptly and may ask for identity verification first.

Keeping your data safe

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encrypted payment processing and access-controlled hosting) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we’ll notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Children

Our memberships are intended for adults. If a minor wishes to join with a parent or guardian’s involvement, please contact us first.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
